Definitions & reconciliation methodology
Order collections: the sum of order-channel totals before cancellations, order adjustments and merchant promotions; includes applicable tax, tips and fees. This is not food-only gross sales.
Statement sales: Grubhub’s “Restaurant sales” after those adjustments. Service fees: marketing, GH+ marketing, delivery and processing. Cash retained: reported payments divided by order collections; not an EBITDA margin.
Settlement check: statement sales + signed service fees + signed account adjustments − closing balance − payments. Nonzero results are explicitly marked for review. A reconciliation flag is not evidence of an unpaid amount.
Coverage: all 443 statements available for the 42 accounts selected at download on September 28, 2026. Missing location-month combinations are not assumed to be zero activity.
